Damascus, SANA- Syria condemned in the strongest terms the continued crimes of the Israeli terrorist entity and its targeting of a residential square in the southern suburb of Beirut, stressing that insisting on these inhuman crimes will drag the entire region towards a dangerous escalation whose results are difficult to predict.
“The Israeli entity continues its brutal war against countries of the region, in Palestine, Lebanon and Syria, as it committed yesterday a new crime against humanity, by targeting a residential square in the southern suburb of the capital, Beirut, which led to the destruction of a number of buildings above the heads of their residents of innocent civilians.” Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement.
The statement added that the Syrian Arab Republic condemns in the strongest terms all those ongoing crimes, and reiterates that the Israeli terrorist entity’s insistence on shedding blood and committing all kinds of war crimes and crimes against humanity will drag the entire region towards a dangerous escalation whose results are difficult to predict.
The Ministry concluded its statement by saying that Syria denounces the world’s silence in front of the horror of these crimes, which humanity has not witnessed in decades, and reaffirms the right of the peoples of the region to defend themselves in the face of this Israeli terrorist aggression.
