Russian air defenses down Ukrainian missile and drones over Russian regions

Moscow, SANA- Russian air defense systems destroyed on Thursday 7 Ukrainian drones and a “Vilkha” missile over Belgorod, Kursk and Bryansk regions.

“Last night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using the Vilkha multiple launch rocket system and drones against targets in Russian territory was thwarted”, Sputnik Agency quoted Russian Defense Ministry as saying in a statement on Thursday.

The statement noted that the air defense systems on duty destroyed a “Vilkha” missile, two drones over the territory of Belgorod region, three drones over the territory of Kursk, and two other over the territory of Bryansk region.

The statement pointed out that firearms in the northeastern part of the Black Sea destroyed two drone boats.
