8 medals for Syria in the Asian Kyokushin Championship 2024 in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, SANA- The Syrian national team won 8 medals at Asian Kyokushin Championship 2024 (KWF), that held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

With participation of more than 250 male and female players representing 15 countries, Syrian team won eight medals, two gold, two silver and four bronze.

The medals went to Dima al-Nouri who won the gold medal in the women’s over-55kg individual combat, in addition to a silver medal in kata, while Firas Zarzour won silver medal, Yamen Zarzour won the bronze, and Karam Mahrous won bronze, Adam Al-Sabouni won the gold medal, Mahmoud Abu al-Shamat won the bronze medal, while Ryan Hamoud Ali won the bronze medal.

The competitions were very strong, but our players were able to compete and win medals and proved their presence on the Asian scene, our national team coach, Hazem Mardini, stated to SANA.
