Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise to become 3 to 5 degrees above average, as the country is affected by an Indian seasonal low air pressure accompanied by subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology department expected in its Monday bulletin that the weather will be hot and clear in general, while it will be misty in in the eastern regions, al-Jazeera and al-Badia.
The winds will be westerly to southwesterly over coastal and southern regions as it will be westerly to northwesterly above other regions, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 38/23, Daraa 37/22, Homs 36/22, Hasaka 42/29, Tartous 34/26, Aleppo 19/8, Idleb 38/24, Deir Ezzor 43/29.
