Damascus, SANA- Syria condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that targeted a tourist hotel in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, expressing its condolences to the families of the victims and to the people and government of Somalia.
The Syrian Arab Republic condemns in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that took place in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, targeting a tourist hotel, resulting in a number of innocent civilian casualties, the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
Syria extends its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the families of the victims and to the fraternal government of Somalia, and expresses its support for the Somali people at this difficult time.
In a related context, Syria appreciates the efforts of the Somali government in combating terrorism and enhancing security and stability in the country.
