US police arrest dozens of pro-Palestinian protesters in front of Congress building

Washington, SANA-The US police arrested dozens of demonstrators who gathered in front of and inside the Congress building, protesting the continued brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the US military support for Israel.

“More than 250 protesters were arrested out of hundreds who participated in the protest organized by the Jewish Voice for Peace group. where Protesters wore red T-shirts with the words “Not in our name” and “Stop arming Israel” while some carried banners reading “Ceasefire now” and “Let Gaza live” Reuters reported.

The protests were scheduled to coincide with “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visit to Washington to meet with US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

The US and other European countries around the world are witnessing continuous solidarity demonstrations, condemning the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and in support of the Palestinian people.
