More than 500 dead in protests in Bangladesh

Dhaka,SANA- 501 people were killed and at least 300 police and civilians people were injured in protests in Bangladeshi capital , Dhaka

‘’ 501 people were killed and about 150 policemen were injured in the clashes that took place on Friday ,” Dhaka Metropolitan Police spokesman Faruk Hossain told France Press Agency.

A government curfew went into effect at midnight and the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina asked the military to deploy troops after police again failed to subdue widespread mayhem.

“The government had decided to impose a curfew and deploy the military in aid of the civilian authorities,” the prime minister’s press secretary, Nayeemul Islam Khan, said
