Tehran, SANA- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that the main focus of the new Iranian government’s foreign policy is to open up new horizons and comprehensively expand friendly relations with other governments on the basis of dialogue, cooperation, equality and mutual respect.
During phone calls and written messages with leaders and officials from more than 40 countries, the new Iranian president said that his government would pay special and great attention to deepening comprehensive relations with neighboring countries, regional governments and other governments as far as possible.
Pezeshkian won the presidential election held on July 5 to become Iran’s ninth president, while a member of the presidency board of the Iranian Shura Council, Mojtaba Yousfi announced that Pezeshkian’s inauguration ceremony will be held on the 30th of this month.
