Damascus, SANA-Since its inception in 1973, the international flower show has gained wide international participation, bringing new types of plants, shrubs and flowers, in addition to displaying heritage artifacts that express the civilization of the participating countries.
Tourism Minister Eng. Mohammad Rami Martini, said that the 44th International Flower show 2024 has adopted the Damascene rose as its permanent logo, carrying a message of beauty, love and peace from Syria to the whole world.
Technical Assistant for Relations and Media at Amanat Baghdad, Uday Kazem said that they regularly participate in the Damascus Flower show, to learn about the latest in the world of flowers, plants, and to display the folkloric heritage products that Iraq is famous for, in addition to benefiting from the information and expertise available in Syria.
Activities of the 44th International Flower show, organized by the Ministry of Tourism in cooperation with the Damascus Governorate, opened in Tishreen Park on the 26th of current month and will last till the 14th of next July.
A number of local and international companies specialized in the production of flowers, ornamental plants, medicinal and aromatic plants, garden coordination and their supplies are participating in it, in addition to displaying traditional crafts and small family projects, and a number of cultural events including open-air theatrical performances.
