Moscow, SANA – Russian Defense Ministry announced on Friday downing 25 Ukrainian drones over several Russian provinces during the past 24 hours.
“Over the past night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to commit terroristic attacks using unmanned aerial vehicles on Russian territory was thwarted, 12 marches were intercepted in the Bryansk province, and others over the Smolensk, Voronezh, Kursk and Rostov provinces,” The ministry said in a statement quoted by Sputnik news agency.
Ukrainian troops almost daily target Russian border areas in the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh and Crimean provinces with drones and missiles.
In turn, Russian Armed Forces continue to carry out their own military operation with the aim of disarming Ukraine, eliminating threats to the security of Russia and protecting civilians who for 8 years have been persecuted in the Donbass region by the Kiev regime.
