Palestinian Presidency welcomes Armenia’s resolution to recognize State of Palestine

Occupied Jerusalem, SANA-The Palestinian presidency welcomed the announcement by the Armenian Republic of officially recognizing the State of Palestine.

Wafa Agency quoted the presidency as saying in a statement Friday ” this brave step shows Armenia’s keenness to support the Palestinian people and their inalienable and legitimate rights to their land and homeland, and their right to self-determination.”.

The Palestinian presidency urged the countries of the world, to recognize it in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the lines of June 4, 1967, and to follow the example of countries that chose the path of supporting the achievement of peace and stability and consolidating the rules of international legitimacy and international law.
