Syria, Iraq discuss joint educational cooperation in Jeddah

Riyadh, SANA- Minister of Education, Dr. Muhammad Amer al-Mardini, discussed with his Iraqi counterpart, Dr. Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, the strengthening of educational cooperation between the two countries.

That came on the sidelines of the General Conference of the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization, ALECSO, at its 27th session, held in Jeddah.

The two sides discussed accelerating the completion of a memorandum of understanding to enhance joint educational cooperation and exchange Experience, training and qualification of educational staff.

Al-Mardini pointed out that the relations between Syria and Iraq are firm in various fields, stressing the importance of strengthening educational cooperation via the experiences exchange, training and qualification of educational cadres

For his part,al-Jubouri praised the historical relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of accelerating the completion of a memorandum of understanding between the two countries that enhances cooperation in various educational axes.
