Mikdad discusses with his Libyan counterpart bilateral relations and ways to reactivate them

Manama, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad , discussed Wednesday with Al- Taher Salem Al-Baour, the minister of foreign affairs in charge of running the affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and international cooperation in Libya, bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to reactivate them in order to strengthen ties between the two brotherly peoples.

Mikdad stressed Syria’s support for Libya’s stability, unity and territorial integrity, non-interference in its internal affairs, and Syria’s keenness to cooperate with Libya’s unified national institutions.

The two ministers also discussed the situation in the region, especially the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, where they condemned the genocide committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people and stressed the importance of intensifying Arab efforts to halt this aggression and to support the Palestinian people’s steadfastness by ensuring humanitarian access and protection.
