ALECSO Executive Council launches activities with participation of Syria

Jeddah, SANA-With the participation of Syria, activities of the 121^st session of the Executive Council of Arab League’s Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) started here in Jeddah.

The move comes in preparation of the General Conference to be held on Thursday.

Secretary-General of the Syrian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, Nidal Hasan represented Syria to the meeting.

The participants discussed the risks threatening the city of Jerusalem and the Educational, cultural and scientific situations in Palestine and a report about the implementation of the plan of the strategy for international cooperation, partnerships, and diversifying sources of self-financing.

Debates also discussed a report on the implementation of the strategic plan to enhance the role of the media.
