A project for irrigate agricultural lands in Lattakia countryside is in service

Lattakia, SANA- At an estimated cost of 500 million Syrian pounds, agricultural land irrigation project that implemented in Jablah countryside at Lattakia province was inaugurated and put into service.

The project is a 320 cubic meter spring water collection tank, equipped with solar energy and contributes to irrigating of 660 dunums of agricultural land.

SANA reporter said that that the project was implemented by the delegation of the UAE Red Crescent in Syria in cooperation with the Syrian Trust for Development.

Governor of Lattakia province, Engineer Amer Hilal, Secretary-General of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, Hamoud Al Jenaibi, and Ambassador of the UAE to Damascus Hassan al-Shehhi, attended the inauguration.
