UNRWA: Israeli occupation remains hold up arrival aid to Gaza

Vienna, SANA- United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed Wednesday that the Israeli occupation continues to prevent it from reaching the northern Gaza Strip to provide food aid and basic supplies.

Hundreds of thousands of displaced people in the southern Gaza Strip suffer from a lack of water, food, and medical supplies due to the occupation’s control over the entry of humanitarian aid through the crossings UNRWA confirmed in a post on X platform.

Since the beginning of the war on Gaza, 176 UNRWA staff members have been tragically killed by the Israeli occupying forces as a result of heavy shelling targeting homes, facilities, infrastructure and shelter centers.
