Damascus, SANA- The Cabinet on Tuesday adopted the strategy of Information Ministry to develop the press sector that moves towards building a pioneering media in its values, performance and investment in the human energies, providing an environment that stirs for innovation and promoting the performance of journalists.
The Cabinet, in a weekly session headed by Prime Minister, Hussein Arnous, agreed to increase the nature compensation of jobs related to press task in the public sector to become 8 % of the monthly salary in addition to 5 % as compensation for the distinguished body and mental efforts.
The government discussed preparations to set a comprehensive vision to treat the status of destroyed companies by terrorism to rehabilitate them and activate the productive operations and invest in the human cadres.
