Moscow-SANA-The Russian Foreign Ministry summoned the US Ambassador in Moscow, Lynne Tracy, and handed her a note demanding that she stop any assistance to several American organizations classified as “undesirable” in Russia, stressing that attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of the Russia will be harshly suppressed.
“Attempts to meddle in the domestic affairs of the Russian Federation, including through subversive actions and the spreading of disinformation in the context of elections and the special military operation will be firmly and decisively suppressed,” the ministry said in a statement published by Russia Today website.
The statement added that it would expel the American embassy employees involved in this, as they are considered persona non grata.
