WHO: Northern Gaza strip with no hospitals

Geneva, SANA- World Health Organization (WHO) affirmed that northern Gaza Strip has no hospitals capable of operating in light of the lack of fuel, medical staff, and health supplies.

“Al-Ahli Hospital was the last one able to work, but it is now working at minimum due to the lack of the necessary capabilities to operate it”, Reuters quoted the WHO Representative to the West Bank and Gaza, Dr Richard Peeperkorn as saying to reporters.

The Israeli occupation forces continue to target hospitals and health centers and prevent entry of medical aid and fuel necessary to operate these hospitals, which led to death of hundreds of patients and wounded due to the lack of facilities to treat them.
