Presidential law to regulate operations of bringing raw gold into country

Damascus, SANA-President Bashar al-Assad issued Law No. (34) for 2023, which regulates operations of bringing raw gold into Syria, and the exemptions and fees resulting from it.

The law allows Syrians, resident foreigners, and non-residents to bring in raw gold and is exempted from obtaining an import license.

It also allows raw gold to be brought in by a traveler.
