Two children martyred in a mine blast in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor, SANA- Two children who are siblings were martyred on Sunday in the explosion of a mine left behind by Daesh (ISIS) in Bokmal City, Deir Ezzor southeastern countryside.

The mine was located in one of the abandoned buildings in the Insha’at neighborhood, and its explosion led to the martyrdom of two children aged 10 and 12 years, Head of the Bokmal City Council, Jubal al-Sayer, said in a statement to SANA reporter.

Terrorist organizations planted mines and IEDs between homes, roads and agricultural lands prior to their defeat with a view to causing as much damage as possible to civilians who returned to their areas that had been liberated from terrorism or intimidating them and preventing them from returning.
