Damascus, SANA- Interior Minister Lt. Gen. Mohammad al-Shaar affirmed on Friday that the attack against Syria is targeting the entire region, particularly the Syrian people and their institutions to undermine their unity and steadfastness in the face of American and Israeli schemes.
Al-Shaar pointed out during his meeting with a delegation from the Syrian community in Kuwait that Syrian people, army and leadership will win against the global war waged against them judging by the daily victories of the Syria army and security forces.
“Syria is proud of the Syrian expats who are Syria’s ambassadors to the countries they live in by their adherence to their homeland,” the minister added.
Head of delegation Wael al-Nasser said that the delegation’s visit to Syria comes as part of their duty as Syrian civilians, urging expatriates to offer all they can to their country.
The delegation members expressed support to their country in combating terrorism and their readiness to participate in the reconstruction process.
