Hama,SANA- Units of the Syrian Arab Army operating in Hama countryside killed and injured members of a terrorist group who were trying to set up an ambush on the main road east of Athreya in Hama.
“Through monitoring and follow-up operations by our armed forces to the terrorist organizations movements and their continuous attempts to launch attacks on innocent civilians, a group of the terrorist organization of Daesh was spotted on Tuesday dawn where it was setting up an ambush on the main road east of Athreya, the army immediately dealt with appropriate fire means, killing two terrorists and wounding others,’ Ministry of Defense said in a statement .
