Arnous, Akbari discuss bolstering Syrian-Iranian bilateral cooperation

Damascus, SANA- Prime Minister Hussein Arnous discussed Sunday with Iranian Ambassador in Damascus Hussein Akbari mechanisms of implementing agreements that have been reached during the recent visit of the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi to Syria.

The meeting dealt with bolstering bilateral relations in the fields of Industry, trade, land and railway transport, transit, oil derivatives, electricity energy and tourism, with the two sides stressing activating cooperation in the financial, banking and insurance fields, as well as revitalizing joint work for the private sector in the two countries and establishing joint projects in priority sectors for the economies of the two countries.

Arnous thanked the Iran’s leadership, government, and people for supporting Syrian people in the face of challenges and blockade imposed on them.

The Premier stresses Syria’s keenness to take all the measures that contributing to pushing forward the bilateral cooperation in order to meet the aspirations of the peoples of the two countries.

The Iranian Ambassador, in turn, reiterated his country’s stance in support of Syria and its readiness to provide all capabilities to improving the Syrian economy.
