Damascus, SANA- Syria expressed its sincere condolences to Iraq over the fire that took place in Nineveh Governorate, northern Iraq, claiming numbers of lives and injuries.
Syria expresses sincere condolences to the Iraqi government and people over the fire tragedy that occurred in Nineveh Governorate in northern Iraq and wishes a speedy recovery to the wounded , Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement on Friday .
The Ministry added that Syria has not forgotten the stance of people in brotherly Iraq in supporting the Syrian people,especailly after the catastrophic earthquake hit the country last February.
On the 26th of this month, more than 100 people were killed and dozens injured after a large fire devastated a hall where a wedding was being held in the al Hamdaniya district of Nineveh province in northern Iraq.
