Temperatures above average, relatively hot weather

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 3 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected by Indian seasonal low air pressure, accompanied by a subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot and the skies will be clear in general while the weather will be misty in the eastern, southern regions, al-Jazeera and al-Badia with high humidity in the northwestern and coastal regions.

The wind will be westerly to southwesterly in most regions and westerly to northwesterly in the eastern regions with low to a moderate speed and  some active gusts, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 38  / 18  , Homs 34 / 20 , Hama 37 / 21 , Tartous 30 / 23 , Aleppo 35 / 20  , Lattakia  32 / 23 .
