Hasaka Governor, ICRC discuss the city’s needs in several sectors

Hasaka, SANA- Hasaka Governor, Louay Sayouh, discussed Monday with head of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) in Syria, Stephan Sakalian, the province’s needs in the health, service and educational sectors.

During the meeting, Sayouh briefed Mr. Sakalian on the situation of the province and the difficult living conditions it suffers from in light of as the unjust blockade imposed on the Syrian state, in addition to the negative effects of the US and Turkish occupation presence, and the continuation of plundering the Syrian resources in a violation of all international charters and conventions.

The governor stressed the necessity of continuing cooperation with ICRC in all fields and providing all facilities to implement all the works that help ease the suffering of citizens, calling on the Committee and international organizations to practice more pressure to remove sanctions imposed on the Syrian people.
