Doha,SANA-The Syrian team of Fares Al-Sham Academy was crowned with the title of Afro-Asian Championship in its second edition, which was held at the stadiums of the Academy of Excellence (Aspire) in the Qatari capital, Doha.
The Syrian team defeated the Iraqi Betis Academy 2-0 in the final match.
Fares Al-Sham Academy participated with academies from Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, India, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt and Sudan, in addition to Qatari academies, and the first edition of the tournament was launched in 2019.
