Presidential decree on granting extra academic year for university students

Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad issued Tuesday a decree No. 225 for 2023 on granting the undergraduate students and Master’s degree students, who were dismissed or exhausted all opportunities to take exams, the opportunity to complete education.

The decree allows the university students to move to next year level if they had failed six subjects at most from all previous years.

The decree also grants the final year university students who had failed six subjects at most to apply for the supplementary exam.
