Damascus, SANA- More than 40 students and graduates from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus organized Faces and Tales workshop that concluded Monday at the Galleries Hall at Damascus Opera House.
The 20-day workshop included more than 50 art pieces, among them pictures and statues for Syrian artists, which aimed at honoring them for their constructive role in the Syrian society.
The workshop also included a large mural for a group of late artists in appreciation of their artistic bids and careers.
A five-minute documentary film was screened through which artist Majd Amoun illustrated the whole stages of the work of workshop.
Those youth represent hope, spirit of challenge and the Syrian national spirit , in addition to that they reflect faithfulness to all who sacrifice their souls in facing the terrorist war waged against
the Syrian people by takfiri terrorist groups, Member of the Regional Leadership of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party, Dr. Khalaf al-Muftah told SANA.
Dr. Al-Muftah stressed that Syrian people across history were the holders of the message of art, ethics, values, tolerance, amity, bravery and sacrifice.
The ceremony included a concert performed by Zarkasheh team.
