President al-Assad issues decree that amends an article on admission of students of National Science Olympiad in public universities

Damascus, SANA-President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday issued Legislative Decree No. /18/ for 2023, which amends article /3/ of term /A/ of rule /1/ of Legislative Decree No. /4/ for 2016.

According to the new amendment, the admission to public universities and scholarships to obtain a doctorate will include those having gold medals in each discipline of the National Science Olympiad rather than limiting to the first winner.
