Lattakia, SANA- For the 5th day in a row, the firefighting teams continue their great efforts to control the fires raging in various regions in the northern countryside of Lattakia.
Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Eng. Hussein Makhlouf, Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Hassan Qatana, and Lattakia Governor Amer Hilal follow up on the operation of the fire-suppression on the ground.
Teams from civil defense, agriculture and fire brigades from several provinces, supported by units of the Syrian Arab Army and helicopters, participate in extinguishing the fires.
