Washington, SANA- The Chinese Embassy in Washington renewed Beijing’s call to the US authorities to stop violating the “one China” principle and to stop supplying weapons to Taiwan.
The US must adhere to the ‘one China’ policy and to stop shipping weapons to Taiwan, to stop creating new complicating factors that can lead to tensions in the Taiwan Strait, Novosti quoted spokesman for the Chinese embassy as saying in a statement.
The spokesman underlined that Washington should also stop threatening peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait, adding that China decisively opposed military ties between the US and Taiwan, as well as arms shipments.
US President Joe Biden announced the allocation of aid military for Taiwan at a value of 345 million dollars.
