Tokyo, SANA- A military parade to mark the 70th anniversary of the victory of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) in the 1950-1953 Fatherland Liberation War was held in Pyongyang on Friday, the country’s Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.
A Russian delegation, led by Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu was among the event’s honorary guests. The event was also attended by a Chinese delegation, led by Li Hongzhong, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China (PRC).
During the military parade, North Korea unveiled its advanced reconnaissance and attack drones and intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), KCNA added.
Among other things, the country unveiled its Hwasong-17 ICBM andnew solid-fuel Hwasong-18 ICBM, test-fired two times earlier this year.
