Damascus ,SANA-As part of the continuous training and qualification process within the army and armed forces, General Ali Mahmoud Abbas, Deputy Commander-in-Chief, Minister of Defense, accompanied by a number of officers of the general staff of the army and the armed forces, attended the graduation ceremony of elite cadets of various specialties from the Men’s Military Academy and the Women’s Military School.
The Cadet Officers carried out military parades including parachute drops, close combat scenes, scenes of crossing trenches, forests and cities, , as well as sports activities.
The graduation ceremony included an exercise simulating real combat conditions, highlighting the level of quality skills of the cadet officers and their exceptional combat ability.
The Minister of Defense gave a speech as he praised the efforts of the trainee cadets and their extraordinary skills, saying that the training phase at the Military Academy and in this session is essential to develop physical abilities, which are the basis of the training of mental abilities, thus enabling graduates to assimilate and use modern weapons and keep up with technological and scientific developments on a global scale.
For their part, the trainee cadets affirmed that they will remain faithful to their commitment to defend the dignity of the homeland, sacrificing everything to keep the flag of glory flying high in the sky.
