Sixth Indian-Arab Partnership Conference warps up activities

New Delhi, SANA- The 6th Indian-Arab Partnership Conference warped up its activities in presences of representatives of most Arab countries, among them Syria.

Head of the Planning and International Cooperation Authority, Dr. Fadi al-Khalil, chaired the Syrian delegation to the conference.

In his speech at the conclusion of the 2-day conference, Dr. al-Khalil stressed the importance of the historical relations between India and the Arab world and the need of cooperation between the two sides in all domains.

He also appreciated the bilateral relations between Syria and India, indicating the importance of investment in Syria and means of benefiting from the opportunities granted by the Syrian Government for foreign and Arab investors in several economic, social, infrastructure and public services domains.

He said that the bilateral relations are evidence on the two countries’ desire to enhance cooperation and signing a number of agreements and memos of understanding.

For his part, Undersecretary of India’s Ministry of External Affairs for Arab Relations, Dr. Ausaf Sayeed appreciated the Arab-Indian relations, called upon the Arab countries to invest in India and enhance relations with the Arab world.
