India looks forward to establishing strong relations with Syria- Indian State Minister

New Delhi, SANA- Indian Minister of State for External Affairs, Vellamvelly Muraleedharan, has affirmed that his country is looking forward to establishing strong relations with Syria, in addition to strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

“India aspires to boost relations with Syria in particular and the Arab world in general, due to the historical ties binding the two sides,” Muraleedharan said in a statement to SANA correspondent.

The minister expressed his intension to pay an official visit to Syria during this month, as he will meet a number of Syrian officials to discuss means of bolstering bilateral relations between the two countries.
