Syria participates in Int’l Physics Olympiad to be held in Japan

Damascus, SANA- With the participation of Syria and 87 countries, International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) 2023 will kick off Monday in Japan and will continue till July 17th

“The National Physics Olympiad team will represent Syria in the competitions of the Olympiad and it comprises students Mahmoud Muhammad Zahir Ayroud from Aleppo province, Amer Essam al-Dali from Damascus countryside, Ammar Raqed Masoud from Hama and Anas Ali Mayya from Lattakia,” Excellence and Creativity Authority said in a statement.

It is the 10th participation for Syria in the International Physics Olympiad, as the Syrian international team won a bronze medal and four certificates of appreciation last year.
