Damascus, SANA- Damascus Fire Brigade has put out a fire that broke out in a Damascene house in al-Qanawat neighborhood in Damascus Old City, next to al-Saada School.
In a statement to SANA, Commander of Damascus Fire Brigade, Brigadier General Dawoud Amiri, stated that immediately after receiving a report of a fire in al-Qanawat area in Damascus on Monday morning, a group of the Damascus Fire Brigade went to the fire.
Amiri added that the fire was quickly controlled to prevent its spread to neighboring houses.
He noted that the fire was completely extinguished, and material damage was limited.
