Damascus, SANA- With the participation of 135 teams from different provinces, the competitions of the first phase of the National Robotics Championship for the year 2023 kicked off on Sunday.
The championship is being organized by the Syrian Scientific Olympics Administration at the Excellence and Creativity Authority.
The first phase competitions will last for six days, and the participating teams will be divided into 3 geographical groups.
The championship includes three competitions, each of which has different age categories and various specializations.
The competitions of the second and final stage of this championship will be held during the period between July 27th and 29th.
This championship is a qualifier for the World Robot Olympiad (WRO), which will be held in Panama during the month of November under the title of “Connecting the World”.
