Damascus-SANA- On the occasion of Eid al-Adha and under the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, the Minister of Defense General Ali Mahmoud Abbas visited Syrian fighting units in the countryside of Aleppo and Lattakia.
During the visit, minister Abbas met the fighters in their positions, conveying the President’s congratulations on the occasion of the Eid and his wishes for them and their families for good health and wellness.
General Abbas also met with the field commanders who briefed him on their combat missions, providing them with his directives and stressing the need to remain at the highest readiness to confront any terrorist attack along with enhancing the security of the homeland.
The medical staff in the military posts also briefed the general with a detailed explanation of the treatment and medical services provided.
