Damascus, SANA- More than 256 thousand students started on Wednesday to take their secondary education (high school) certificate final exams for the academic year 2022-2023 in all provinces.
256,924 centers have been prepared for the exams for all secondary school branches, including the scientific, literary and vocational.
Director of Exams Department at the Ministry of Education told SANA reporter, that the number of students who are taking secondary certificate exams in its two branches, the scientific and the literary, amounted to 229,509 students distributed in 1986 centers.
He added that 27,415 students of vocational high schools, distributed among 346 examination centers started also to take their final exams, as well as 16,698 students of industrial high schools, 7303 students of commercial high schools, and 3414 students of the female arts high schools.
The secondary school examinations will continue until June 26th for the scientific and vocational branches, while for the literary branch, they will last till June 24th.
