Tehran,SANA- The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani affirmed that the United States was and still is the largest arms seller in the world.
According to a review conducted by the American news website The Intercept, since the end of the Cold War, America has been and still is the largest arms seller in the world, as it acquired about forty of the world’s total arms exports in one year, it also sold arms to 142 countries and regions last year, IRNA quoted Kanaani as saying on Twitter.
Kanani added that during the first financial year of US President Joe Biden’s administration, weapons worth to 206 billion dollars were sold.
