Security source: Two of most dangerous leaders of Daesh eliminated in Daraa

Daraa, SANA- The competent authorities in Daraa province have eliminated two of the most dangerous leaders of Daesh “ISIS” terrorist organization who had carried out assassinations, planted explosive devices, and launched repeated attacks on civilians and military personnel in Daraa City.

“Through careful follow-up and continuous pursuit of ISIS terrorists, two of the most dangerous leaders of the terrorist organization, Hassan al-Hayek and Nabil al-Abdullah, were ambushed,” a security source told SANA, adding that the two terrorists had carried out assassinations, planted explosive devices, and launched repeated attacks on civilians and military personnel in Daraa City.

The source pointed out that the two terrorists were targeted and eliminated “directly after monitoring and following up their movements while they were attempting to monitor some military posts, using a stolen agricultural vehicle for camouflage, in the plains between the towns of Tafas and Atman in the countryside of Daraa.”

The source added that the weapons that were in the possession of the terrorists were confiscated, some of which were “Israeli” made, and their weapons included automatic rifles, military pistols, and a “Sonobal” machine gun, indicating that the identities of the terrorists referred to had been identified, and they are Nabil al-Abdullah from the village of al-Suhailiya, and Hassan al-Hayek from Tafas city in Daraa countryside.

The source noted that the units of the Syrian Arab Army and the competent authorities are continuing with all efforts to eliminate all forms of chaos and terrorism in Daraa Province.
