Russian forces thwart Ukrainian saboteurs’ attempt to land on left bank of Dnieper

Moscow, SANA- Russian forces announced on Tuesday that they had repelled a landing operation by a group of Ukrainian saboteurs on the left bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region.

“The group made a failed attempt to land on the left bank of the Dnieper River, using seven speedboats,” Sputnik quoted a military source as saying.

According to the source, the Russian forces confronted the attempt and thwarted it, as the group fled away.

The source noted that the entrances to all the islands at the mouth of the Dnieper River near Kherson and at the exit to the Dnieper Bay are currently under the full control of the Russian forces.
