Syrian-Omani talks on enhancing cooperation in education and work domains

Muscat, SANA-The Syrian Ambassador in Muscat, Idris Maya, discussed Monday with Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim al-Mahrooqi, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation in the Sultanate of Oman, the relations of cooperation and coordination between the ministries of higher education in the two brotherly countries and means of developing them.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the signing of the executive program of the cultural agreement between the two ministries, the exchange of student scholarships, and participation in the cultural and scientific events held in both countries.

In a relevant context, Ambassador Maya also discussed aspects of boosting work cooperation between the two countries with Mahad bin Said bin Ali Ba’owain, Minister of Labour in Oman.
