Alouk station in Hasaka stops pumping water due to terrorist attack

Hasaka, SANA- Water cut off to Hasaka city and the residential complexes as a result of the repeated attacks on the high-voltage line feeding Alouk water station by the terrorists positioned in Hasaka northern countryside.

Director of Hasaka Water Company Mahmoud Ukla said that pumping water from Alouk station had stopped due to the continued terrorists’ attacks on the he electrical grid feeding it, calling for
allowing the workers’ company to enter the station to ensure continuous operation and permanent water pumping.

He added that the company continues to secure drinking water the residents, in cooperation with international organizations in Syria, by filling reservoirs with water on main streets daily, and operating 16 desalination plants in Hasaka citycenter .
