National Earthquake Center: 12 quakes recorded in the past 24 hours  

Damascus, SANA- 12 quakes were recorded during the past 24 hours, with a magnitude of less than 3.6 on the Richter scale, the National Earthquake Center announced.

The center said in a statement that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network recorded an earthquake 8 kilometers northeast of Hama at 1:07 a.m., measuring 1.9 magnitude on the Richter scale, and a tremor in Lebanon, east of Beirut, measuring 26 kilometers, measuring 1.9 magnitude.

The center added that 4 tremors were recorded in Liwa Iskenderun, ranging between 2.2 and 2.8 magnitudes, 5 tremors in the Turkish mainland ranging between 3 and 3.5 magnitudes, and a tremor in the Mediterranean Sea 104 kilometers west of Lattakia, measuring 2.6 magnitudes on the Richter scale.
