Tabbaa, Cherkezov discuss boosting Syrian –Russian educational relations

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabbaa, discussed Monday with the chairman of the Christian World Association in Russia Alexei Cherkezov, and the accompanying delegation consolidation of educational relations between Syria and Russia.

During a meeting held in the ministry’s building in Damascus, Minister Tabbaa referred to the strength of the Syrian-Russian relations, particularly in the educational and cultural field, calling for the importance of consolidating relations and presenting joint work among students due to the presence of Syrian students studying the Russian language.

In turn, Cherkezov voiced the association ‘s readiness to support, and follow up initiatives that benefit the Syrian and Russian sides, pointing out cooperation in the field of developing Russian language curricula in Syria.
