Obeid discusses with ELAM situation of Syrian Students in Havana

Havana, SANA- Syria’s Ambassador to Cuba Ghassan Obeid discussed with Deputy director of the Havana’s Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM) Damodar Binya enhancing the situation of the Syrian students studying in the School and means of enhancing cooperation between it and the Syrian universities.

Obeid expressed thanks and appreciation over the Cuban government’s scholarships offered annually for the Syrian students to study in the Cuban Universities.

For his part, Binya hailed the Syrian students’ ability to adopt with the new university life in Cuba, asserting that the relevant Cuban authorities will continuously coordinate with Syrian Embassy in Havana to eliminate all problems facing the Syrian students.
